Abcourt Mines inc. is a Canadian based mining, development and exploration company with strategically located properties in Northwestern Quebec.
The resources mentioned on our web site for the Vendome-Barvallee property and the Elder mine were prepared before the publication of National Instrument 43-101 and are presented for historical reasons only. See projects for additionnal details.
The resources for the Abcourt-Barvue property have recently been revised by an independent qualified engineer, in accordance with National Instrument 43-101.
The Abcourt properties lie within and adjacent to the prolific gold-producing belts of the "Porcupine-Destor Break" and the "Larder Lake-Cadillac Break" that run through the Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or, Quebec, regions where more than 40 million ounces of gold and substantial amounts of copper and zinc have been produced.
Recent management studies indicate that the Elder mine historic gold resources and the Abcourt-Barvue 43-101 silver-zinc resources are economical to mine. Abcourt is a reporting company in Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. It is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol ABI.V and in Berlin and Frankfurt.
On May 31, 2006, the Company had about $2,300,000 in working capital.
